Mr. Joseph "Joe" Pratt

Joseph Thomas (Joe) Pratt, age 14, passed away as a result of a car accident on April 24, 2017. Joe was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on June 18, 2002 to Jamie Calabrese and Thomas Pratt. Joe was a freshman at Lassiter High School and was deeply involved in their NJROTC program.

He was known for his sense of humor and ability to light up a room with a well-timed joke and his laughter. Joe was able to befriend anyone due to his extensive knowledge of fun facts and world records. He hoped to one day follow in his brother’s footsteps and join the military.

Joe leaves behind a loving mother, Jamie, his father, Tom, his step-father Brett Lago, his two sisters, Stella and Lilly, and three sets of grandparents, James and Joyce Calabrese, Irving and Nancy Pratt, and Frank and Ann Lago, as well as a large extended family.

A memorial service to remember Joe’s life will take place Sunday, April 30 at 2 pm at Piedmont Church (570 Piedmont Road, Marietta, GA) with light refreshments afterwards.
