John Edward Walsh

Graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a B.S. where he played one of his loves Basketball.

Worked in New Jersey for Dow Chemical for many years. Owned his own chemical business and finished his working years as an Expert Witness for several large law firms around the U.S.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. Sponsored his grandsons’ little league baseball team. During retirement he went back to his first love basketball and coached 10 year old boys and girls at the Roswell Recreation Center.

His other loves were working in the yard, reading and traveling around the world. Because of his kindness, many Boxers have a loving home. He is a member of Atlanta Boxer Rescue.

Survivors; Wife, Jacqueline A Walsh; daughter, Laurie Walsh Alexander; sons, Steven Russell Walsh and John Merritt Walsh; grandchildren, Quin Alexander (wife, Caitlyn Alexander), Valerie Walsh (finacee, Aaron Keith), John Luke Walsh, Michael Walsh and Madison Taylor Rinehart.

A memorial service will be held on October 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA 30076 (770−993−4811).
