JR, as he was known to his friends and family, was born on June 25, 1938 in Birmingham Alabama to Martha & Morgan Reagan. He attended Howard University (now Samford University) as a walk on to the football team after a career in the United States Marine Corps. He went on to own a successful business, DePuy Reagan and Associates as well as Ortho-medical. He also owned the first ERA Real Estate Agency in Georgia. Jimmie was a lifelong fan of the University of Alabama football, and he had a vast collection of sports memorabilia. You could count on seeing a game of some sort on the TV if you visited his home. He also enjoyed family vacations at his beach home in Santa Rosa Beach, as well as spending time with his grandchildren. One of his favorite pastimes was helping people realize their dreams in business and in life. Those who knew Jimmie also knew him for having a ready supply of $2 bills to pass out.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents Morgan and Martha Reagan. He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Jean Meeks Reagan(CJ), his sister, Carol McKinstrey and brother-in-law Lee McKinstrey, children Connie Reagan Brust (Michael Brust), Russell Allen Reagan (Kimberly Reagan), Joseph Bradley Reagan (Jennifer Anderson Reagan), Phillip Scott Pruitt (Raquel Pruitt), James Keith Pruitt (MIchelle Pruitt), Grandchildren; Justin Brust, Taylor Brust, Jordan Brust, William Reagan, Samuel Reagan, Cole Reagan, Kyle Reagan, Jennifer Pruitt, Amanda Smith, Kristin Brannon, Taylor Carpenter, Sierra Albers, Morgan Pruitt, Madison Pruitt, Gabriel Pruitt, Emma Pruitt.
