Jean Hager Barron

Raised in Statesville, NC, Jean was a long-time resident of Prattville, AL. She relocated to Atlantic Beach, FL to care for her brother in 2011.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Don McGahee of Alpharetta, GA; two brothers, Eugene (Junior) Hager, Statesville, NC and Phipps Allison Hager, Atlantic Beach, FL and her sister, Dorothy Woods of Statesville, NC; and four grandchildren, Olivia Jean McGahee and Matthew H. McGahee of Alpharetta, GA and Jennifer McGahee and Donald McGahee, Jr. (DJ) of Satsuma, AL; and her nephew Jim and Pat Cauthen of Watkinsville, GA.

A service to celebrate the life of Jean Hager Barron will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at 11:00 at The Chapel of Roswell Funeral Home with a private burial at Green Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to the service.

In leiu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Community Hospice at www.communityhospice.com in Jean’s honor.
