I first met Jay the summer before our senior year of High School. We instantly became best friends.. We spent every moment together, be it on the soccer field, skiing, in the fort at Ft. Adam’s, or causing mayhem…much to his parents’ dismay. I just recently learned of his passing and I’m heartbroken. He was the epitome of good and righteous…and I will always cherish his friendship. I love you brother!! You made the world a better place.

My heartfelt condolences go out to Jay's son, parents, family and friends.  I knew Jay from his time in Newport RI and especially from German class.  I have a lot of happy memories of him and knew him to be a very generous and caring person.  We were able to reconnect through social media and chatted frequently about his time in Newport and what had transpired over the years.  I pray for those he loved to find joy in the memories you hold dear.

Jay you were so special to me, even though we only had a year together.  Fly among the angels and keep an eye on me.  I will always love you!  To Jay's family, especially Jax, He loved all of you and talked about you often.  To all his friends, wow the stories he told me, he truly cherished all of you all the way back to his friend's from Germany and his UGA days.  You all were bright spots in his life.  His co-workers, especially from Phillips, you guys brought tons of happiness to him through out the years.  Jay was always the perfect gentleman, caring, loving and cherished his friends and family .  You will be missed my sweet Jay!

My deepest condolences go to Jay's parents, family, and his beloved son. Jay was a dear friend, and I am heartbroken that he passed away at such a young age. He was always such a sweetheart with a kind, gentle nature. We were friends at Frankfurt American High School and neighbors in Bad Vilbel, Germany. The backs of our houses faced each other, separated by a hill. When Jay used to see me struggling to mow our back yard, he would come out of his house and mow it for me. We spent many hours together on our neighborhood tennis courts, on the school tennis team, and a lot of time just hanging out. I'm very thankful that Jay and I kept in touch over the years. When I had my own marketing/public relations business, Jay messaged me through LinkedIn and introduced me to business associates in the Dallas area in hopes they'd hire me to do freelance work. He was always kind, always positive, and always giving. I know he cared so very deeply for his son and was so proud of him. If there is an opportunity to help contribute to Jackson's college fund, I know many of us from FAHS would welcome the chance. My prayers are with Jay's family and son. Much love to you all.

I am heartbroken and filled with sorrow at the passing of Jay. Our relationship started as work colleagues and turned into friendship. He was a first-rate friend and he will be missed greatly. Thoughts and prayers go out to Jay's family during this difficult time.

Shocked and saddened to hear of Jay's passing. He was a fountain of positive energy and always saw the brighter side of life. I will always remember him bobbing down the corridors at Philips with a smile on his face brightening everyone's day. We are shocked and saddened to hear of Jay's passing.  We have many fond memories of football Saturdays in Athens with Jay and Jackson, and our little tailgate group will not be the same.  Our family will be keeping Jackson and Jay's entire family in our thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about Jay.  I went to high school with Jay in Frankfurt.  I will never forget his great smile. It truly brightened every room he entered.  My condolences to your family.

I was so sorry to hear of Jay's passing.  He was a great guy and always had a positive outlook.  I recall many good UGA football weekends spent with Jay and the guys.  I know he will be missed.

So sad to hear of Jay's passing.  I worked with Jay for a couple of years and I can honestly say he loved his son more than anything in the world.  I hate that he has left this life so early but I hope Jackson knows that his Dad was one of a kind. He had a big heart and always a kind word.  May he find comfort in the arms of our Savior.

I just cannot begin to express my sadness at the loss of Jay.  Thinking back over the past thirty years, I think about how much Jay and his entire family had added to my life.  I have so many great memories of time spent together.  I had recently shared with others the road trip Jay and I had with his grandparents to Atlantic City.  Then our trip to visit Col. Schwartz in Germany. Also, the many other times with his grandparents, Karen, Melanie, Mrs. Schwartz and other family members.
I had spoken to Jay recently, and he was happy and encouraged about his future.  We discussed how busy we had become with jobs, children and life in general.  He told me of how proud he was of Jackson and especially what a great baseball player he had become.  We talked about how much we needed to get together again.  In fact, we planned to meet at his tailgate for one more Georgia football game.  
I will always fondly remember Jay. He will be missed.

I was very sad to hear today that Jay is no longer with us.  It is too soon, and he will be missed.  I and my brother and many other Frankfurt Eagles remember Jay with loving memories.  He always had a smile on his face and was a good friend.  We are having our 30th High School Reunion this year and Jay seemed excited to attend.  He will have a special spot in our hearts as we gather this summer and raise a glass to our classmate that will be with us in spirit.  I am so  sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.
