Jane Ellen Grundy

Jane was born to Dr. William Christian Klingelhoefer and Iris Gertrude (Bailey) Klingelhoefer on September 19, 1936 in Syracuse, NY. She grew up in Hopewell, Virginia.

Jane was married June 23, 1956 to Allan Hart Grundy, Jr in Hopewell, Virginia. Jane and Hart were together for nearly 62 years living in Richmond, VA, New Orleans, LA, Milwaukee, WI, Dunwoody, GA and Sarasota, FL before Hart passed away in 2018. They were parents of three sons; Charles S (Steve) Grundy, Mark A Grundy and James M (Jim) Grundy.

Jane is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother-in-law, Gary R Grundy, and sister, Marianne Klingelhoefer Renjilian Loman.

Her memory will be cherished by her children Steve (Joyce) Grundy, Mark (Susan) Grundy and Jim Grundy; grandchildren, Patrick (Candace) Grundy, Laura Grundy, Megan (Ryan) Johnson, and Kathleen (Matt) James; great-grandchildren, Lucy Johnson, Ansley Grundy and Silas Engle; sister-in-law, Betsy Grundy and two brothers, Thomas and Robert Klingelhoefer and many extended family members and friends.
