Harry Charles White

Harry”Charles” White, aged 83, passed away on Monday, December 4,2023, after his battle with Parkinson’s Disease. He was born on September 14,1941 to Harry(1997) and Louise White(2001) in Atlanta, Georgia. Charles attended Auburn University, and went on to work with his dad Harry Charles White Sr. at Meier and White Equipment Co. (STIHL) Charles married Eunice “Ann”Allen (died October 17,2021) on August 9,1968, in Atlanta, Georgia, after only meeting in May of that year. They had a daughter Carla Ann White and son Kenneth Charles (K.C) White both residing in Cumming, Georgia. Charles, after retiring from STIHL went on to help start four other companies ranging from home improvement company, to manufacturing fireplace mantels and cabinets. Throughout their lives, Charles and Ann loved traveling, enjoying lake life at Lanier and spending time with their children. In the 51 years of marriage until Ann’s passing, Charles loved and lived for his wife and children. In all of their family travels from Europe, Canada, and beyond we as a family loved seeing the sights, but we remember the food and restaurants more. My mom could look in the local yellow pages (before Google) and find the most off the beaten path restaurants, as dad would drive. Dad would order, and as the server would think he was done he was just getting started, mind you he never weighed more than 150 pounds, but loved his food, especially sweets ! From this day forward desserts, any candy, especially milk duds will forever be the candy of Charles White. He always enjoyed and savored the sweet things in life, from family, friends, and food. After our moms passing Charles moved into Celebration Village of Forsyth and loved everyone there, from the friends he made, to the beautiful staff that became our family. We thank each and everyone there for their friendship, dedication and love. Surviving are his children Carla White and Kenneth White (KC), brother-in-law and sister-in-law Warner and Marilyn Allen, many cousins, and friends. Charles was preceded in death by his parents Harry and Louise White, his wife Ann White. A Celebration of Life will be held on December 19,2023 2pm at Roswell Funeral Home 950 Mansell Road,Roswell, Ga 30076 to celebrate Charles’s life and honor his contributions to our world.
