Gloria June Peal

June graduated from O'Keefe High School in 1958 and was crowned Miss GA Peach in 1957, crowned 1958 Homecoming Queen and was Captain of the O'Keefe cheer leading squad. She married the late Tony Peal in 1962, and they lived together in Johns Creek, Ga., where they raised their family of two daughters.

June was self-made, self-employed top sales representative with Swibco from 1986 up until her retirement in 2010.

She loved going to the beach, gambling and cooking with her friends and family. She always lived life to the fullest.

June is survived by two sisters: Betty Jean Vick, Mary Jane Lineberger; two children: Debra Smith and son in-law Clark Smith, Julie Peal and partner Lisa Brazerol; two grandchildren: Trey and Brie Smith; and one four legged son: Nicki (St. Nick) Peal.

A viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and services to be held from 12:30 -1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at Roswell Funeral Home. Burial will be held directly after, at Crest Lawn Cemetery
