Gloria Banks Forester

Gloria Banks Forester lost her battle with cancer on April 5, 2025. She was born on October 25, 1942 in Darlington, SC. Gloria, affectionately known as “Gigi”, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister and will be forever remembered for her love of Jesus and her dedication to family and friends.

She touched the lives of countless individuals and will be deeply missed by her husband, Link Forester Jr., sons, Link Forester III (Carla) and Blake Forester, sister, Betsy Bird, and grandchildren, Banks (Laura), Cole (Kayla) and Caroline Forester, and great-grandchildren, Banks Jr., Hayes, Wells, Lane and Roman Forester, as well as her bible study, bridge partners, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Marian Banks, and her grandson, Tyler Forester.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 on April 24, 2025 at The Perimeter Church Chapel to worship the Lord and honor her life. The church is located at 9500 Medlock Bridge Road, Johns Creek, GA, 30097; please enter the property off of Medlock Bridge/Hwy 141, not the Old Alabama entrance.
