George Rufus Wing Jr

Mr. George Wing was born to Dorothy and George Wing, Sr. in 1940. He was the oldest of four children. After graduating from Roswell High School in 1958, George enlisted in the United States Air Force from 1959 to 1963. Later, he would work at The Coca-Cola Company as a Laboratory Manager until his retirement in the early 2000s. He was married to the love of his life, Virginia Nell Wing, for almost 50 years until her passing in November 2014. Together, they share many memories and two children, George Keith Wing and Kevin Russell Wing. In his spare time, he collected many things, enjoyed cooking, music, and spending time with friends and family. He will be greatly missed by many.

He is preceded in death by: George Rufus Wing, Sr. (father), Dorothy Lucy Wing (mother), Virginia Nell Wing (wife), Dorothy Janet Fike (sister), and Simon Wing (family dog)

He is survived by: George Keith Wing (son), Kevin Russell Wing (son), Taylor Elizabeth Wing (granddaughter), Amanda Joy Gibson (granddaughter), Emily Anne Wing (granddaughter), George Jehu Kacen Wing (grandson), Michael Hardy Wing (brother), Bruce David Wing (brother)

Service will held at Roswell Funeral Home on Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 3:00 pm.
