Evelyn Dickson Howington, of Greenwood, Mississippi, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, October 27, 2014 at Green Lawn Cemetery, Roswell. Mrs. Howington, born in Atlanta, was a homemaker and a member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, Greenwood, MS. She was a graduate of the Girls High of Atlanta and an avid golfer. Mrs. Howington was preceded in death by her husband, Bill S. Howington; brother, Ralph Dickson; sister, Doris Dickson Durham.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Lonnie Bailey. Grandchildren: Chris Bailey (Julianne), Grady Bailey (Maggie); and great grandchild, Amelia Bailey. Sister, Helen Dickson Yarbrough; sister-in-law, Doris Howington Westbrook.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning from 10:00 am until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Johns United Metodist Church, Greenwood, MS.
