Edward "Lee" Taylor III

Edward Leahman Taylor, III born July 5th 1953 and passed February 13th 2024. Lee is preceded in death by his father Edward L Taylor, Jr and mother Louise Bell Taylor, wife Larene Taylor and son Sammy Taylor.

He is survived by sisters Cynthia Joyner, Julie Rambo, and Pam Taylor Foster; Brother In laws Terry Joyner, Kevin Foster, and Todd Chester as well as daughter Amanda Barnes, Son in law Mitch Barnes, his grandbabies Madison Taylor, Lily Butterfield, Mitchell Barnes, Jr and Taylor Barnes. And many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Lee was the owner of Taylor Lock & Key and Taylor Welding & Fabrication, he served as a volunteer firefighter at Roswell Fire Department and was a prior member of Falcon Hunting Club.

As a beloved Father, Grandfather, brother and friend, Lee's heart shined upon us all. His story telling of the old days will forever be memories we shall cherish.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday February 21st at Roswell Funeral Home, receiving friends and family at 10am and service at 11am. This will be followed by a graveside service and a gathering at Red Lobster afterward (please know this is tend to your own tab). Rev. John Hunter officiating.
