Edward served three years in the United States Army before pursuing a career as a Principle Investigator with the United States government.
He went on to meet the love of his life, Queen Esther Deering. The beloved union blessed them with a blended family of five children. Edward was fond of many things, but none more than his family, creating memories that they will hold dear forever.
Never one to meet a stranger, Edward was a support to anyone that may have needed him and are all much better off by having him in their lives.
Along with his parents, Edward is preceded in death by his brother, Bernard C. Gordon.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Queen Esther Gordon of Roswell, GA; daughter, Shelly Jackson of Miami, FL and son, Edward N. Gordon of Marietta, GA; brothers, William L. (Roy) Gordon of Viera, FL and James A. (Jim) Gordon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister, Jeanette Adamo of Haverford, PA and step-children, Marjorie, Benjamin and Connell Crooms. He has 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a host of friends.
