Dot was born August 4, 1935 in Atlanta, Georgia, the daughter to the late William Marvin Donegan and Millie Gertrude Harris Donegan.
Dot led an amazing life. She had two children, Lynda and Phil, that to this day experienced nothing but true, and unconditional love. They went on to bless Dot with three granddaughters that she worshipped. First born Kelsey, next Paige, and third Casey. Dot planted sacred Dogwood trees in her backyard to honor them.
Dot possessed a servant’s heart, an infectious laugh, determination, and the softest hands. She was a beautiful writer and faithful follower of Christ. She treasured a beautifully set table surrounded by her family and friends, Sunday phone calls with her granddaughters, October, the crescent moon, her own jokes, and a single present to open on Christmas Eve.
Dot is survived in death by Lynda, Mark, Paige Ritter; Phil, Casey Simpson; Kelsey, Kevin Fitzpatrick; Sister Mary, Harris Cooper. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings; Harris Donegan, Howard Donegan (Frances), George Donegan (Nancy), Richard Donegan (Jackie), Bob Donegan (Dot).
