She attended Middle Tennessee State Teachers College, where she met her future husband, Breezy Foster. They had a wonderful 68-year marriage until his death in 2011. Dot was a charter member of the Dogwood Chapter of the Embroiders’ Guild of America. She was a great cook and a fine southern lady! A lifelong Baptist, she was a former member of Second Ponce de Leon Baptist Church and a member of First Baptist Church of Roswell.
She was preceded in death by husband Buford Lee Foster, parents Walter and Cora Walker, siblings William Walker, Elbert Walker and Louise Walker Funk.
She is survived by Patti (Bill) Elder, David (Stacey) and Cooper Elder, Michael (Anne) and Michael Foster, Jr., Barbara (Wesley) Turner.
A Celebration of her Life will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2:00 P.M., Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Georgia
