R.I.P., Brad, my friend & loyal Wolverine fan.  Belated & heartfelt condolences to his wife, children & family members. I was introduced to Brad by a college buddy named Brian Campbell in 1999. Brad & Brian knew one another from high school. Brad's wit & gift of story-telling were immediately evident. And cherished. Always humorous. I used to love hearing his work-related stories involving global adventures. When I heard about Michigan events in Atlanta, he often came to mind & a few invites ensued. We met the inimitable Desmond Howard in July of 2013. Then the author & Michigan professor John U. Bacon a few years later. Not enough invites. You will be missed dearly, Brad.  God bless! Brad was sporting his "flying wing" football helmet cufflinks. Go Blue!)

I’m very late writing this note but as the year comes to a close I wanted to pay my respects to Brad’s family and many friends for the significant loss of a great guy.  I first met Brad back in 2001 in Fiji of all places, I liked him from the first second.  A genuine character, full of life and optimism, and always with a smile. I met Brad with he was a young whopper snapper in 1995. He always had such a great attitude energy and always there to be a friend.

I have not seen Brad in years as I changed careers but I am crushed to hear of the loss of his life. I am so sad I was not aware to have a chance to say .. thanks and good bye.

So so sad.. we lost a great one with such humor 

I met Brad 18 years ago at Invesco and had the pleasure of working with him directly. He was my supervisor at one point in my career and he had an amazing sense of humor. Brad and I had an inside joke about "the Blue box",  which he still owes me, by the way. So the story about "the Blue box". Brad, from what I know, absolutely loved and adored Heather and would always joke about all the "Tiffany Blue boxes" he would buy to surprise her with. So one year, I said to Brad, "where is MY Blue box? I think I have worked hard this year and deserve a Blue box." So Brad, without hesitation said...."you know what, you DO deserve a Blue box, and a Blue box you shall have". So sure enough, the next morning when I got to my desk, there was a small "Blue box", wrapped with a tiny blue ribbon sitting on my desk. I was in such shock and so excited to see this box, that I quickly opened it up to see what was inside, only to find.....a McDonald's scratch off coupon for a FREE french fry taped to the inside!!!!  Goda love that Brad!!  So, last year, when I sent Brad my video clip to let him know that we all love him and are praying for him, I started off by saying...."Hi Brad, it's your favorite girl "Tiffany"....I hope that made you laugh"....

I admired his love for his children and based on our inside joke about "the Blue box", I know how much he loved Heather. He will be missed...

To my friend Brad of 32 years, I will really miss you!  Way to many memories to share here... I will simply say I am a better person because we were friends for so long.

Over recent years we both were so busy, we would periodically meet half way between our houses at a local restaurant/bar late at night to talk about our families, sports, work, and/or topics of the day.   I always enjoyed getting together and sharing stories and having a few beers.

Brad, you were a friend that I always could count on.  I will never forget you!  See you some day again, but not yet...

Bradley started out as a  big brother coworker for me twenty something years ago, picking at me and causing me grief at his enjoyment.  Over the years he became someone I looked up to and admired in the way he lived his life, as a dedicated family man, a loyal friend and someone who helped others.  I will miss his quick whit and boisterous laughter.  I Look forward to seeing Brad again someday and will think of him as the angel stirring it up in heaven until then.

I met Brad 18 years ago at Invesco. In our early days, we not only worked together on a daily basis, but we also traveled the globe. That meant spending a lot of time away from family and friends and really allowed me to get to know him, his family and his core values and beliefs.  In short, he was the complete package. Smart, funny, reliable, tenacious and above all loyal. His love for Heather, Tyler and Caroline and his extended family was endless.  When on the other side of the world, nothing would stand in the way of his daily call to Heather, always ending with the words “Love you lots” or his weekly call with his beloved grandmother.  He had high expectations for himself and his kids, and while tough at times, I know that Tyler and Caroline have a clear roadmap in their hands due to Brad’s wisdom and guidance. 

Over the years we forged a true friendship that took us on many golf outings filled with hilarious moments on and off the course, great dinner conversations, laughter and lots of inappropriate words while watching college football games. As a side note, I am sure Brad had something to do with Purdue’s upset of Ohio State last night and you better belief that everybody now knows that Brad has arrived in paradise! 

I count myself fortunate to have had him as my friend for so many years and will miss him dearly. Ciao, Brad!

I considered Brad to be a great friend. I met him 11 years ago on the tennis courts. He was a great athlete on the courts and on the golf course….”Who needs a stinking practice swing”. He also gave us way to many putts over the years. He was instrumental in 2 ALTA mixed doubles City Championships. He was always the first one to the courts for early Saturday morning tennis matches or rounds of golf having some conversation with whoever was around that always included laughter. He was brilliant, funny, witty, and a great listener. When I had a cancer scare a few years back he provided me with many positive affirmations, and I did the best I could to reciprocate. Obviously he did a better job then me!  The most admirable part of Bradley’s persona was the love for his family. He always talked about Heather, Tyler, and Caroline.  

Brad was an old soul and I pray for Brad and his family as I try and seek answers as to why God took him home so soon. Being the old soul that he was should give us all a glimmer of light that although he died way to young, at any point in the last 11 years that I knew Brad, you always knew he was light years ahead of us all when it came to wisdom & knowledge. I am positive that Bradley provided his family with not only security, but more importantly a lifetime of great advice on how to be the best versions of themselves. 


I didn't know Brad for that long, but I did have the privilege of having him interview me, and then spending some time with him in Atlanta when I first started at Invesco.

From the moment I met him (and after briefly thinking "who is this guy!?"), I quickly came around to his sarcasm and quick wit.  When in ATL, he was kind enough to offer a couple of us a ride to our hotel as it was on the way home.  That car ride stayed with me... He talked about his family (his parents, wife and children) and I sensed his unwavering love for, and dedication to, them.  I remember thinking to myself "that's what I aspire to be for my family".  It's clear from all the memories and wishes I've heard and read that he gave so much of himself, and touched so many lives.

Though he may not be physically be here, his positive presence will be felt for a long time.

My heart goes out to his family and close friends... Sending lots of love and prayers during this difficult time.

Every great once in a while, someone comes into your personal circle who is larger than life.  Always upbeat, even in these last few months, Brad was one of the most positive and generous people I have ever met.  Brad loved to talk politics and current events, and let’s just say he had some strong views. But in rarer times when he talked about his family it was always in glowing terms.  He loved you all very much and was very proud of you.

I am privileged to have been Brad’s friend, and hope to honor his memory by living up to his high standards of what being a husband, father and friend means.  He will be greatly missed.

The very first project I received upon joining Invesco 5 years ago was one of Brad's projects.  I benefitted from knowing him and the breadth of knowledge he so freely shared. I am glad that his generosity is noted. He was a quiet contributor to our community service group. Brad bought 3 cases of protein bars for the military and  contributed to our teachers gift card drive.

He shared beautiful stories about his bride and it was clear that he loved his family very much. 

I will always cherish his support and  encouragement. He left an indelible impression on those who had the pleasure and honor of knowing him.

I had the honor of working with Brad for 15+years and always appreciated his kindness, patience and most of all, his fantastic sense of humor. Brad was truly one of a kind and he will be missed!! 

My deepest condolences to all of Brad's family and friends.  My mother passed away unexpectedly a few months ago and I truly understand the magnitude of this loss. 

There are no words to describe how much Brad will be missed. He was such a light. Brad attended my baby shower and everyone was asked to write down one piece of parenting advice. Brad wrote 7 and here they were:

1)	Start saving for college yesterday
2)	Start investing NOW….in Vanguard funds
3)	Blue and Maize looks good on everyone!
4)	Only one of you can be drunk at any one time!
5)	No designer clothes until the kid turns 8
6)	2 drops of whiskey will put your kid to sleep for at least three hours!
7)	You can never play enough golf… oh wait, that’s advice for me) ignore this one

I most admired his love for his wife and family. Based on his stories and the way he spoke about her, you knew he adored Heather. 


Heather and family, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I'm proud to call Brad a friend and to have attended your wedding reception up here in yankee country in Hudson, WI.  Know that my family's thoughts and prayers will be with you and yours.  Mike Reilly, Minneapolis.
