Jo attended Lanier High School, class of 1966, where she was a cheerleader. At a young age she became a member of Sardis Baptist Church. She was a current member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where she served as a deaconess until her health began to decline.
Jo was a faithful employee of West Pepperell for 36 years until retirement.
Jo was a fun and loving person that could lift the spirits of everyone she came in contact with. Spending time with family and friends was one of her life’s greatest highlights.
Jo was preceded in death by brothers, Leroy Ingram, Will Ingram and Anthony Ingram.
A legacy of love is entrusted to the following survivors: Husband, Johnnie Ogletree of Lanett, Alabama; a special daughter, Tammy (Patrick) Floyd of Mableton, Georgia; a loving and devoted son, Maurice (Tammy) Ingram of Lithonia, Georgia; two step sons, Zachary (Michelle) Ogletree of Fairburn, Georgia and Jermaine Ogletree of Lanett, Alabama; a special son that she reared as her own, Sandor “Noody” Harris; three loving sisters, Susie Askew of Cleveland, Ohio, Gertha (Arthur) Rudd of Lanett, Alabama, and Mary Dell Ingram of Lanett, Alabama; one caring brother, Wheeler Ingram of Lanett, Alabama; a step-mother, Hattie Ingram of Lanett, Alabama; two special grandsons, Marquarius and Jabias Walker of Mableton, Georgia; one special granddaughter, Kamryn Ingram of Lithonia, Georgia; two great-grandchildren, Kobe and Marlee Walker of Smyrna, Georgia; three very special friends, Lee (Mellow) Williams, Betty Barnes and Minnie Gates; and an array of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Jo’s love, laughter and memories will forever live in our hearts.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., at Foreman Funeral Home, 7248 King Road, Valley, Alabama.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 2:00 P.M., at Mt. Hermon Baptist Church Life Center, 1601 Magnolia Road, Lanett, Alabama. The interment will immediately follow at Pine Hill Cemetery, Lanett, Alabama.
A Reception will be held at Point University Golf Club, 2001 Country Club Road, Lanett, Alabama, immediately following the interment.
