Barbara Larkin Spencer

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and “checking on her chickens”. Her hobbies included quilting, knitting, playing cards and games with her friends and family and taking trips to the place she loved the most, Cape Cod. She was an active member of All Saints Catholic Church.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Susan Marie Cockrell; brothers, Robert K. Larkin and Eugene T. Larkin; parents, Michael J. Larkin, Sr. and Katherine Starvish Larkin.

She is survived by her husband, Ernest C. Spencer Jr.; daughters, Catherine E. Spencer, Robin Jean Pastush, Mary Beth Miskill, Anne Larkin Pilcher, and Monica Margaret Lanier; 12 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Joan K. Dawson; and brother, Michael J. Larkin, Jr.

The visitation is scheduled for Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. and Friday, October 14, 2016 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. The funeral Mass is to be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Dunwoody, GA.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
