Mrs. Barbara Dudley

Barbara E. Dudley, 78, of Roswell, GA passed away on Sept. 12, 2012. The oldest of seven children was born in Detroit, MI on July 18, 1934. She is survived by Jack, her loving husband of 57 years and by her three children, Jack Dudley, Jayne (Randy) Jones and Joyce (Bob) Cantow; grandchildren, Lauren and Sarah Dudley, Kristen and Jacqueline Cantow; brothers, Roger and Tom Zucchet; sisters, Anita Wolski, Elaine High and Margie Vanderbent. Her parents, Roger and Eleanor Zucchet, and her brother, Greg Zucchet, preceded her in death. Barbara loved to water ski, snow ski and bowl. She was also an avid bridge player. She had the opportunity to live in Geneva, Switzerland with her family for four years. It was during that time that she grew to love traveling and among her favorite places to visit were Italy, Egypt and Australia/New Zealand. Barbara took particular satisfaction in serving as an active volunteer at the Norwalk Medical Center for over 20 years. The Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thurs., Sept. 20th at St Peter Chanel Catholic Church, 11330 Woodstock Rd. Roswell, GA 30075 with Father Peter Rau officiating. A reception will follow at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 41 Perimeter Center East Suite 550, Atlanta, GA 30346 or to the National Kidney Foundation, 2951 Flowers Rd. South Suite 211, Atlanta, GA 30341. Roswell Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
