Please accept my sincere condolences during this challenging time. I remember Mr. Bashara from my days as a student at Mississippi State University; he was a truly kind and friendly person. His warmth and generosity left a lasting impression.

My wife  and I knew Al from frequenting Altobelli’s for many many years.  Our picture with friends was hanging on the wall of the restaurant!  Al always greeted us like family and was always very attentive.  So sorry to hear of his passing.  Our condolences to his family!

Al was one of the sweetest men we have ever met. No matter how busy he was, and he was always busy he would be sure he gave you his undivided attention and support.
The world will miss a truly special man.

I did not know Ali personally but am a member of the Roswell adult soccer community and know through his teammates that he was a loved and respected friend who will be greatly missed.

I am sorry to hear of Al's passing., seen in AJC. My Sympathy to Mrs & Family. I was his Pest Control tech at Altobelis  for 90 % of 16 years, into 2016. He would give me a gift at Christmas & comp dinners when I was with a date. Fond memories chatting with him & Mrs in Store Office. Hit home for me as I am only 3 months younger. Offered prayer & candle at Mass today. Good man, in his heavenly reward now!

Al was a soft-spoken person but when he spoke everyone was listening. I always had a feeling that everyone respects him and I was among those people, even though I probably knew him not that long compared  to many other friends.
Al left a great impression on me and lovely memories playing soccer alongside.  We will remember him for a long time.

Al was a very special man.  Giving without expecting any type of return.  Ran his business like no other could.  He was kind and friendly.  He will be missed immensely.

Al, you were so many things to me and my family over the 30+ years I was blessed to know you.
Always one to lead by example, working hard, even when you were in great pain.   
You gave us all a home away from home.  Imparting your wisdom along the way.  You were generous to a fault.   You touched so many hearts and minds over the years.
And how overjoyed (and saddened) we were when you retired from our beloved Altobeli's.  It has not been the same without you there.
I'm so glad that these last two years were spent traveling and enjoying time with family and friends.  I pray that all these beautiful memories hold all who knew and loved you tight while we mourn your loss.

I only met him a handful of times over the years but I remember him as a polite gentleman and I am so very sorry for his family and friends sudden loss of him.  Prayers for strength and peace for all.

I give credit to the over 65 team letting me play with the group that I got to know Al, and at the same time, I blame them that I have to grieve for him now.

I am going to miss seeing him running at me with the ball while I’m in goal and knowing that he’s going to hit a hard shot at me (because he did not take any wimpy shots).  I’m actually going to be a little sad when my left ankle quits hurting, because I sprained my foot on the last shot I blocked from him.  I’m happy that his team won their last game and that he got to celebrate with his men.  That Al stepped off the field when his team was comfortably ahead tells me what a good person he was.  I’m going to miss him bringing his little dog.  And I’m sad I’m not going to get to know him any better.  By all accounts, I’ll miss out on a lot.

I hope that he laid down peacefully the last time, imagined his last win, his last celebration, his last goal, his wonderful vacation with his wife, and went to sleep with a joyful smile on his face.  And I hope that he left us knowing how beloved he truly was.

l met Ali when I started playing in an O65 soccer league in Roswell. He was always friendly and welcoming, and when I was considering, and then rehabbing from, a knee replacement he was very helpful, supportive and encouraging. Before I was back on the pitch he regularly emailed me to see how the PT/rehab was going. And when I made it back out there he always made a point to ask how I was doing, with a sincerity I really appreciated. 
I'm glad I knew him, and am very sorry we, and his family, have lost him.

I’m so sorry to hear of your passing my friend. I’m sending love and prayers of healing to your family. I’ll see you on the other side. Save me a seat on the bench at the soccer field.
