Aileen loved people very much, and spent her whole life loving and helping others, her family, church friends, and co-workers. She retired from Fulton County, where she worked as a custodian and cafeteria worker at Mountain Park Elementary School.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Clifford Lamance Langley, her brother Walter Edmondson, her brother-in-law Bill Atcheson, her sister-in-law Betty (Don) Avery, her brother-in-law Gerald (Willie) Langley, and her nephew Michael Langley.
She is survived by her twin sister Christine Woods; her daughters Renee (Ray) Panter, and Carla
(Greg) Faulkner; sons Dennis (Anita) Langley, and Clifford L. Langley; and her sister-in-law Dot Atcheson;
grandchildren Becky Daniel, Josh Panter, Jessica Burns, Tate Malone, Tegan Rivers, Adam Burns, Cody
Langley, Ian Langley, and Hannah Langley; seven great-grandchildren; and loving nieces and nephews, Sharon (Hank) Bird, Perry (Deborah) Langley, Phyllis (Jimmy) Booker, Kenneth (Pam) Avery, Kenneth (Teri) Reeves, and Toney (Randi) Langley.
A celebration of Aileen’s life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Aileen’s name to Wounded Warrior Project.
