Uwe "Bob" Rose

Uwe “Bob” Wolfgang Rose, age 69 passed away January 1, 2021. Bob graduated from Washington Trade School in Detroit, and he was a paperboy as a child. He enjoyed scuba diving, trains and history. Bob was U.S. Army veteran. Bob loved his country, his city, his family and friends. He retired from the City of Detroit Water Department. Beloved husband of the late Nancy. Loving brother of Anita (the late Terry) Rose-McKinney and Thomas Fredrick (Deborah Kay) Rose. Proud uncle of Marshall Tyler Smith, Chelsie Dianna Calandin and Jordan Taylor Rose, and great-uncle to Isabella Marceau, Abigail Marceau, Kira McKinney, Annabelle DeLois Smith, John Taylor Rose and Jaiden Kye Rose. He was predeceased by his parents, Maria and Gerhard Rose and his niece, Megan (Dale Taylor) McKinney-Marceau and his nephew Shaun (Star) McKinney. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kaul Funeral Home of Roseville. A memorial service to be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made to The Michigan Anti-Cruelty Society macsshelter.org.
