Robert John Ploplis, age 72, of Roseville. Died Monday, March 19, 2018 at his home in Roseville. Robert as born August 2, 1945 in Detroit to Joseph & Marie (Gillard) Ploplis. He married Rosalie Jean Ratiu on May 24, 1968 in Roseville. Robert will be sadly missed by his wife, Rosalie, children; Robert Ploplis Jr., Julie (Chris) Kratt, grandchildren; Benjamin & Evan, siblings; Beverly (William) Woytta, sister-in-law Nancy & brother-in-law Ralph Ratiu and his dog Maggie. Pre deceased by his parents and brother-in-law Robert Ratiu.
Robert had a wonderful sense of humor that everyone around him enjoyed. He made a lot of dear work friends over the years and loved to spend time with them. He was a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Army and worked for Ford Sterling Axel for 43 years. He enjoyed fishing, up north, camping, and was a fan of both the Tigers and U of M teams.
