John Widajewski, age 92, of Roseville, died Nov. 14, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy. John was born Jan 5, 1925 in Rogers City to the late Stefan & Frances (Wasylk) Widajewski. He married Alice Azarovitz Jun 9, 1951 in Detroit, she died Jun 7,2012. He will be sadly missed by his children; Barbara (Dennis) Stricklen, Gary (Leesa) Widajewski, Linda Widajewski, grandchildren; Heather (Sam) Jackson, Brian (Jessica) Stricklen, great grandchildren; Carter Stricklen and Emma Jackson. John served in the US Navy during WWII, submarine vet, as a signalman 3rd class.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10AM instate 9:30 Monday, Nov 20, 2017 at Holy Innocents, 26100 Ridgemont, Roseville. Visitation will be Sunday 3-8PM. with a 7PM Rosary at Kaul Funeral Home, 27830 Gratiot, Roseville. Entombment to follow at Cadillac Memorial Gardens-East.
