Met John working at the court.  He was a great man, a kind man, and a true gentleman.  He was instrumental in my becoming a deputy.  He will be missed.  Very sorry for your loss.

Sandy, Ryan and the entire Pace family.  I know this has been such a shock to All the family and friends of John. I’ve known him From the Quinkert/Park neighborhood and our connection continued through The Pace family and my husband.  John was always so kind when my husband Carl was fighting cancer and John would always do a little errands for Carl . In my more recent years it was John I would always text and ask  “do you know somebody that can fix this or somebody that can do that” when I needed help at home and he would always respond immediately.  I called him “my go to guy”. 
I will miss all the updates about his grandchildren and all the pictures he would show from our old neighborhood acquaintances..All I can say is he was a wonderful kind hearted man. RIP John.  🙏💔🇺🇸

John I were good friends in Elementary School at Alumni Memorial, especially in 3rd grade Mrs. Hielscher.   We had a Space club in that class.... we always played baseball or kickball at recess.   We would talk for hours about the Red Wings and Tigers.  We were both Safety Boys...he was the Captain of the squad and I was a Lieutenant.   We drifted apart after Junior High but would always stop and talk in the hallways at Brablec when we passed each other.  I will miss just knowing he is around.... he was a link to my growing up and fond memory of friends.  I will miss his Brablec Class of 72 posts, he seemed to keep everyone updated on what was going on.   May he be at rest in the arms of the Lord,

John was a good & fair minded boss. He always kept the midnight shift running smoothly. He was a pleasure to work with & very predictable with his 5am morning bowl of Cheerios!  May he rest in peace & condolences to his family. I also worked with John’s dad at Roseville PD, he was a very nice man also.

Sgt. John Pace will always be remembered by members of the Macomb County Sheriff's Office as being very friendly, respected, and professional by the way in which he served  citizens of Macomb County.  My sincere condolences to the family.  🙏⛪️🙏

So sorry to hear this news.  I worked with John in the 1980s at MCSD in the "swamp". He was a great partner, a man of integrity, someone you could depend on. Condolences to his family.  John will be missed.

John and I were best friends at Eastland Annex, and on the 2nd floor we raced down the stairs to get to lunch.  Yes we often got in trouble because of running, but it is a memory we share that I never will forget.  

To Johns wife Sandy and family I pray God comforts you at this sad time in your life.  I wish I lived closer so I could help in any way you would need.

Johnny,  Thank you for all the laughs, jokes, and memories of yesteryear!  We had a good time growing up.  Gary and I will never forget you.  You were a great guy!  One more thing Johnny, JOHNNY BE GOOD!

I worked and have known John for over 50 years. He was a friend and co-worker and will be surely missed. A Irish blessing to you John “May the Lord hold you in the palm of his hand till we meet again”. I will miss you my friend.
