Moritz, John, aged 74, of Macomb, MI passed away on June 22, 2020, at Troy Beaumont Hospital, after battling a very aggressive form of cancer. He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Vaysabel (Frank); his daughter, Sandy Couckuyt; his son, Gary Couckuyt (Jane); his grandson, Blake Couckuyt; his grandson, Troy Couckuyt; his brother, Mike Moritz; his brother, Joseph Moritz Junior. John was a retired school teacher at Fitzgerald High School in Warren, MI and was also a Tax Accountant for most of his adult life. He belonged to Hope United Church of Christ and enjoyed singing in the choir. He enjoyed a good meal and time spent with family. John was especially known for his kindness and generosity and will be forever loved and greatly missed. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Kaul Funeral Home of Roseville.
