James Daniel Gillis, age 87, of Fraser, MI passed away on Friday, November 3, 2023 in Shelby Twp. James was born June 3, 1936 in Detroit to James & Pauline (Cichocki) Gillis. He married Sandra May (Rymarczyk) Gillis on June 18, 1966 in Orchard Lake, MI.
James is survived by his wife Sandra, his daughters; Mary (Tim) Crowe & Cindy Gillis, his grandson Mathew and sister-in-law Gloria Rymarczyk. James was preceded in death by his daughter Amy, his parents and his siblings Helen Taormina, Marion Mulhern & John Gillis.
James was a real Sports fan, he enjoyed keeping Baseball Stats, singing in the Church Choir and Horror Movies.
In state on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at 10 am until time of Funeral Mass at 11am at St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish, 18720 13 Mile Rd, Roseville, MI 48066.
