George Richard Ralph passed away on January 22, 2015. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on July 30, 1932 to Herbert A. and Bettie R. (Leachman) Ralph. George met his future wife at Tiger Stadium on "Fireman's Field Day". They married September 18, 1956 and raised their family in Roseville. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, proudly serving during the Korean War. George is survived by his loving wife, Jacqueline (nee: Stieber); son, Richard (Colleen) Ralph; daughter, Barbara (Clay) McGorman; grandchildren, Andrew Ralph, Lauren Ralph, Eric (Krystal) Bukowiecki, Nicole (Daniel) Voiland, Jessica (Ryan) Colon and Kyle McGorman; great-grandchildren, Rozlyn, Tryst, Myrra, Faith, Hope, Lydia and Daniel. George loved spending time with his family and travel. The places George rated as "best" were San Francisco and Florida. George always wore a baseball cap. One favorite had "Ralph's Beer Removal Service - Cans, Mugs, Pitchers, Kegs" printed on it. One of his most beloved simple pleasures was going out for coffee and a donut at Tim Horton's. A committal service with military honors will take place on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
