Emil Ardell Birdsong Jr.

Emil Ardell Birdsong Jr., age 78, of Warren, MI passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021 in Warren, MI. Emil was born February 23, 1943 in Detroit, MI, to Emil & Carolyn (Weaks) Birdsong Sr. He married Beatrice Lee Johnson, on September 12, 1981, in Detroit.

Emil is survived by his wife Beatrice, fur baby Miss Cindy Birdsong; mother-in-law Patricia Wolff; in-laws, Thomas Johnson, Benjamin (Ann) Johnson, Edwin (Victoria) Wolff III, Patrick Wolff, Elena (Jason) Michaud; niece Zenaida (Dennis) Sokol; nephews, Jared & Justin Michaud, David Thomas; great nieces & nephews, Preston, Denny, Sydney, Dylan & Brooke. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Judith Perez.

Emil was a graduate of University of Michigan, he received his Master from "Center for Humanistic Studies" and his PHD from Union Institute.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Emil's name, to St Peter's Lutheran Church.

A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 11:00 AM , at St Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, 23000 Gratiot Ave., Eastpointe, MI 48021.
