Oh David I miss you so much I am just sick. I know you didn’t want to have an open casket but it was just a few of us and you still looked as handsome as ever. When I kissed your cold lips I just wanted to climb in and hold you until you warmed up. I’ve been crying for days. I can’t eat just cry. I love you so much and I know things weren’t always perfect but it was our perfect. I still call out your name thinking your in the other room. I can’t watch family guy either lol. I know you were greeted by a lot of loved ones and now there’s no more back pain haha. I just want this nightmare to be over I don’t know how to do this without you. You have been my best friend and other half for 15 years and I will never forget you or our love 

Our sweet nephew David. Named after your Uncle David. I will always remember when you, Gretchen, Uncle Dave and myself sat in our car and prayed together. It was a beautiful moment that will always be in my heart. We had some great talks. God says come to me as you are. I know he embraced you with his love. Dear brother, 
I never thought today would be the last day that I seen your face, kissed your forehead and said my final goodbye. When I walked in the room where your body laid. I had that few private minutes with my brother.  You looked so peacefully beautiful.  Jaiden drew a photo of all of us as angels, with a note that read " We will miss you Uncle David. Please kiss my dad for me." Love , Jaiden, Donivan & Mommy. He even signed his name in cursive. I folded it and placed it in your shirt pocket.
I knew in some way you kept your promise. Its no coincidence that as soon as I walked out to greet mom.  The most beautiful Monarch Butterfly was flying all around me. I wasn't the only one who seen it.
I hope you were happy with the way that everything turned out brother.  We even placed your favorite poker hand by your side. 
This is not goodbye, it's I'll see you later.

I am so sorry this happened to you Little David.  You are such a handsome young man with a beautiful daughter and sweet partner Gretchen. May you rest in peace.  Thank you for helping me move to my apartment a few years back.  When you were younger I drove you around on the back of my Honda Spree on the dirt roads up north in Gladwin. (I'll have to share this pic with Tami).  Please say hi to my dad for me...your 2nd father...lol.

My Darling Godson David, I have so many Memories of you when you were young. You were the one who started the Mud fights at Aunt Debbies House. I can still here your Mom screaming don't get him dirty, but we did not care did we. On your Birthday you and I would go to Toy's R Us and I would let you Pick anything you wanted, every year until you got older, than we went to Hudsons and at that time I had to take a loan out to buy you something. You always picked out Hats  and Sweat shirts. When you were a baby I would come over at nap time and go to the crib and kiss you all over wake you up and make you cry and then leave just to drive your Mom crazy because you would not go back to sleep. I have so many Memories of you I loved being your Aunt and God Mother and I will always Cherish those Moments. Until we meet again my Darling RIP I Love You  I Promise I will keep the mud fights going with your Nephews and Cousins as long as I am still on this earth. Your Loving Aunt Debbie.

This photo was taken at Jaiden's first birthday in Palm Coast Florida.  My brother and I were always close.  He was liked by many.  Dave was  popular, talented, handsome, and let's not forget funnys.  He loved to make people laugh. We definitely had our inside jokes.  Even his daughter Abbi has his senses of humor. I could tell you stories for days.  However, I'll keep those as wonderful memories to always hold on to. I still am in complete shock and to be honest, it's still not real to me yet.  I love you big brother.  I hope that you you found peace and are now are reunited with dad and Uncle Dave. I hope you remember what we always promised each other if something were to happen to one another.  Dispute everything else,  I'm proud to be your sister . You've always had my heart
