William Raymond Mueller

After his parents divorced, Bill’s mother Lillian married Charles Ellenwood and lived in Clearmont, WY along Clear Creek. A few years later, he was joined by his little sister Judy. From that moment, they had a special bond, that remained until his death.

Bill lived in Clearmont, until graduating and joining the Navy. He was very proud of his service in the Navy.

Bill always loved returning to Sheridan, WY and would take his sister Judy’s boys up on the Big Horn Mountains, for a camping adventure.

The love of the Big Horn Mountains never left. It was a part of his soul.

After Judy’s husband retired, Bill and his wife Kay would take adventures. Going camping attending Cheyenne Frontier Days, Clearmont days, or the Sheridan WYO Rodeo.

Bill enjoyed building bird houses, dust pans out of license plates, wind chimes out of silverware, and toy cars and other things out of wood. His sister Judy would look forward to his visit to see what new treasure she would receive.

Bill and Judy had weekly phone calls that could last over 1 hour, talking about growing up, friends and family that they enjoyed spending time with.

Bill would receive photo books with pictures of nephews, great nephews, great nieces, and great-great nieces and a set of triplet great-great nieces. He was so proud of them and he made sure to share them with anyone and everyone who would visit.

Bill worked for the Roseville Fire Department for 25 years. He was very proud of his profession and made many dear friends during his time there that lasted his entire life.

Bill is survived by his wife Kay Ann Mueller, sister Judy Baumgartner, sons Ron Mueller and Chuck Mueller, grandchildren Kristina and Joshua, nephews Tony, Steve, Bill, Mark, and many nephews, great nephews, great nieces, and great-great nieces.

Bill is also survived by friends, who loved him as family, including Carole Hecker, Gary Hecker, Marcie Nathan (Dave), Monty Hecker (Gretchen), Holly Enberg (Eric), and their children and grandchildren.

A Memorial will be held on May 21 at 10:30 AM at the Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall located 110 Park Dr. in Roseville.

In lieu of flowers family has requested a donation be made to the Roseville Fire Department instead.
