Ruth Ann Kesti and their five children Charene Clark (Anthony), Sam Kesti (Jenn), Jenny Niimi,
Alena Capps (Samuel) and Erin Goodsell (Nick), and their 18 grandchildren. Brother-in-law to
the late Bruce Clark (Carol), Lee Clark, Lita Himes (Mike) and the late Jess Clark.
William was born on November 4, 1949 in Sacramento, California. Preceded in death by mother
Jean Kesti and father Henry Kesti.
William was of the first graduating class of Oakmont High School and was ranked top 15 in his
class. He spent his youth in boy scouts, 4H and earned laboring experience of hard work on his
parents ranch and local friends' ranches. He served his country during Vietnam as a combat
engineer and upon returning home, married his sweetheart and continued his work in heavy
equipment operations as a talented multi use construction equipment operator. He handled hard
work and developed many talents in being a "Mr. Fix-it". He'd take on any construction job,
home improvement and problem solved them with creativity and ingenuity-above all he did it
with a smile and wit, and was beloved by all who worked with him.
Bill was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and enjoyed
bringing others to the love of our Savior, Jesus Christ by service to others. He loved to share
stories of his heartfelt thoughts and enjoyed spending time with friends and family and playing
games.
His loved ones cherish the memories of his many acts of kindness he consistently gave over his
lifetime and will be sorely missed. He used his many talents to serve others and was a great
example to those who knew him.
A funeral will be held in his honor on April 25th, 2024 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Later
Day Saints located at 6460 Cavitt Stallman Road, Loomis at 11am. Viewing is at 10am. A
