Shirley Marlene Griffiths

Shirley Marlene Griffiths (nee Johanson), born Jan 17, 1936 in Peoria, Illinois passed away on Nov 11, 2018. She was a loving and devoted wife to William (Bill) whom she met in Peoria and married in 1955. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill, of 61 years, and their son Richard L. Griffiths. She is survived by her son William S & husband, John Jacobs; Daughter Elizabeth & husband Reynel Lucero; Grandsons Nicholas & Nathan Lucero, Granddaughter Katie Griffiths and her children, Zachariah and Zoey, her Great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Larry Johanson and wife Marion, and her sister Karen Randle all from Glasford, Illinois.

Shirley cherished her immediate and extended family. She balanced her household duties as mother and wife with that of a working woman. Shirley worked throughout most of her adult life in various fields, including major Oil Companies and Aerojet. She made every holiday memorable. She made sure her family always came first and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Services will be held at Lambert Funeral home 400 Douglas Blvd. Roseville, CA. on Nov 17, 2018, visitation 9:00-10:00, services at 10:00.
