AZEVEDO, Norman Anthony -- entered into rest Monday, March 4, 2019 at Kaiser Hospital in Roseville CA. Born November 14, 1939 in Modesto, CA, he was 79 years old. A resident of Roseville for 2 years and previously a Milpitas resident for 26 years, also a Fremont resident for 18 years. Norman entered into the grocery business in 1958. This became a life long career. He was partnered with two of his brothers in the early 1970’s with Double A Super and then in 1978 he purchased a convenient store in Santa Clara, “Bell Mart” he was very proud of all the family and friends he employed and mentored throughout his years in the grocery business. He later finished his career in the grocery business as a manager/supervisor for Key Markets & Cosentinos. He also served as Chairman of the Fremont Planning Commission. And served on the planning commission of Milpitas. Norman enjoyed years of camping with his family. He found comfort in his little Puppy “Milo” He also found so much joy & happiness watching his Golden State Warriors. Norman A. Azevedo was preceded in death by his Wife Alberta L. Azevedo. Survived and Beloved Father of Ronald A. Azevedo of San Lorenzo, Cheryl L Bearby and Son in Law Edward N. Bearby. Loving Grandfather to Stephanie Azevedo, Christopher & Darlene Azevedo and Proud Great Grandfather to Gabriella Rose Azevedo. Also Grandfather to Justin, Jared, and Jenna Bearby. He is survived by his brothers Bob Azevedo, Ted Azevedo, and Terry Azevedo. Preceded in death by Brother Warren Azevedo.
