Funeral services will be held at the East Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Sacramento, California on July 17, 2020, at 10 a.m. for Myron Glen Nadolski age 82. Myron was born on October 13, 1937 in Wisconsin to Ruth and Myron F. Nadolski who moved the family to Maricopa, California in Myron's youth. After graduating high school, Myron enlisted in the United States Air Force and married his sweetheart Helen. Having served in the USAF for 8 years, Myron retired to civilian life and a career in education as a vocational education teacher, then a college administrator. During this time, the couple was blessed with the birth of their son Michael who was the light of their lives. Myron finally retired from education after 35 years having served as a Dean of Vocational Study for 22 years at American River College.
He was preceded in death by his son Michael and his wife Helen. Myron is survived by his cousins Kathryn and Leonard Plunkett and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a loving and caring son, husband, father, uncle, and friend. Myron was a staunch proponent for higher education, loved being involved with the Lincoln Hills Veterans Group, and enjoyed activity with his various social groups and charitable organizations. Though he will be missed, that sadness is far outweighed by the great joy felt at the knowledge that he is finally reunited with his beloved family.
The surviving family would like to thank his friends for their caring expressions of love before his passing and sympathy and condolence since. In lieu of flowers, Myron would appreciate donations to ARC Michael & Helen Nadolski Memorial Teachers Of Tomorrow Scholarship for students at American River College pursuing degrees in teacher education.
