Jackie D. Siemion, age 86, passed away on October 20, 2024, in Citrus Heights, California. Born on March 15, 1938, Jackie lived a life marked by creativity, community service, and a deep commitment to her family and friends.
Throughout her life, Jackie was actively involved in her church, Our Lady of Assumption, where she dedicated much of her time to volunteering at the food locker, helping those in need. Her artistic spirit was evident in her folk art woodwork, a passion that led her to participate in numerous craft shows. Jackie's creativity extended to her home and garden, which she meticulously cared for and took great pride in. Known for her love of entertaining, her home was a welcoming space for gatherings of friends and family.
Jackie is survived by her brothers Larry and Jeff Slayton, her loving children, Patti Lewis, Tony Garland, Vicki Johnson, and Donna LaCavera; her cherished grandchildren, Melissa Bunyard, Kevin Perovitz, Crystal Blevins, Tiffany Hall, Sarina Garland, Jesse and Jennifer Johnson; and her adored 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gladys O'Brien; father, Donald Slayton; husband, Robert Siemion; brother, Louie Slayton; and granddaughter, Nichole Campbell.
Jackie's life was a testament to her loving nature and her ability to bring beauty and joy to the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who know her.
