June 25 1922 -June 9 2012
Daddy went to sleep peacefully Saturday,June 9th at his home watching the SF Giants game with his two daughters by his side. He was proceeded in death by his loving wife Margaret in 1998 and his sister Glenola Aydelotte in 2011. He is survived by his daughters Carol Lumbrazo and Tom of Roseville and Linda Johnson and Ted of Citrus Heights .
He was Grandpa Mac to Aaron Johnson and Jamie of Brentwood CA and great grandchildren Kaili and Zackery and to James T Johnson and Tammy of Philadelphia PA and great grandson Seamus and to many other family and friends.
He was a very kind and gentle man who helped so many in his lifetime. He enjoyed working in his yard, playing golf, listening to music and going to concerts. He and Margaret spent many wonderful times traveling together and with their grandsons when they were young. He loved spending lots of time with his family and his close neighbors Bill and Donna.
Harold was born in Moffat, Colorado and apprenticed for the D&RG Railroad in Alamosa Colorado. He met his wife of 51 years in England during WWII, where he was stationed with the U. S. Army Railroad Battalion. They were married in Colorado in 1947 and moved to California in 1954 and to Roseville in 1957. He worked for the SP Railroad as a carman for 35 years. Watching golf and other sports was one of his favorite activities. He was an avid SF Giants and SF 49er fan.
Those who knew Harold are so thankful for the countless stories and heartfelt memories he leaves behind. We will all remember him as a wonderful man and we will miss him everyday!
