Darren Wayne Lebrecht

Darren Lebrecht passed away suddenly from a severe asthma attack on April 1, 2017 in North Hollywood, CA. He was born Feb 1, 1971, in Glendale, CA. He graduated from Del Oro High School in Loomis, CA where he played Middle Linebacker on the Football Team. He was the Team Captain, selected MVP, All City, All State, and All Area Defensive Player of the Year. He later attended American River College where he was Defensive Captain and All League Linebacker for 2 years. In 1991, Darren moved to the Los Angeles area to pursue a career in acting. He became a talented actor and a member of the Screen Actors Guild.

Darren was the loving son of Wayne and Carol Lebrecht, brother of Brandon (Anjie) and Jason (Barbara) and Uncle to Miranda, Meghan, Tristan, and Amber. He also leaves behind his many Aunts, Uncles, cousins, and friends.

Darren will always be remembered for his deep love of family. He was an avid reader and communicator, a good listener, and very kind and generous to everyone. He was insightful, and had a way of putting things into perspective and simplifying them. He was a gift to all who knew him.

Services will be held at the Newcastle Portuguese Hall at 690 Taylor Rd, Newcastle, CA 95658 on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 12:30pm. Burial at Newcastle Cemetery, adjacent to the Portuguese Hall. Reception following at Lake View Hills Community Clubhouse, 8062 North Lake Circle off of Auburn Folsom Rd, Granite Bay, CA 95746.
