Brian Thomas Hocking, 52, of Roseville California, passed away on April 12, 2023. He was born on March 28, 1971 in Bloomington, IL. He is survived by his wife, Kimberley Hocking, his sons Adam Hocking and Dylan Hocking, his mother Cindy Backer and stepfather Rich Backer, his father Bruce Hocking, and stepmother Carol Hocking, his brother Eric Hocking, his stepchildren Mike Crandell, Matt Crandell and Ashley Crandell, his grandmother Chris Towns and niece Shana Hocking. Brian was preceded in death by his grandparents Kermit (Reb) Towns and Bill and Jane Hocking
Brian moved from Illinois to Dallas, Texas for a time in his young life and that is when his Dallas Cowboys obsession began. His family moved from Texas to Orangevale, CA where he graduated Casa Roble High School in 1989. He graduated from UC Davis in 1993. Brian played soccer throughout grade school, high school, and college. Brian was goalie for many of those years.
He began his career in pharmaceutical sales in 2000 and was recently honored with the Presidents Club Award as the top 10% of the nation at his company.
He raised his sons in Roseville, CA and enjoyed bike riding, BBQ’s and time with family. He was a true Chicago Cubs, Dallas Cowboys and Sacramento Kings fan! You would find the lucky gnomes out each season, representing his teams.
He met his wife, Kimberley, in January 2012 and they were married in April 2014. Brian and Kimberley loved to travel, golf, spend time in the backyard with family and find new adventures to experience together.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 for family and friends.
