Born December 19, 1951, in Frankfort, Indiana, passed away at her home in Roseville, CA on October 25, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, and father-in-law. Loving wife of Jeffrey Barnes. Loving mother of Stephanie Davis (Benjamin Davis) and Jonathan Barnes; grandmother to Haylee and McKenzie; she also leaves behind two sisters Carolyn Fields (Sam Fields), Mary Lynne Slonaker and 8 nieces & nephews. Brenda attended Michigantown Elementary School where her mother was her first grade teacher. She attended Ball State University and Purdue University, majoring in Early Childhood Education. Brenda spent over 35 years in education. A viewing will be held on Wed., Oct. 31, 2012, at the Lambert Funeral Home, 400 Douglas Blvd., Roseville, CA from 4-7pm. A service will be held on Thurs., Nov. 1st at the Roseville Cemetery, 421 Berry St., Roseville, CA at 2pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations in her memory to the Salvation Army.
