Billie Jean Weckner

Billie Jean Weckner, age 87, of Rancho Cordova, California passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022. Billie was born March 20, 1934. Billie Jean was the 10th child born to Guy and Ida McGhee on March 20, 1934. She saw a lot of change in her 87 years of life. From a childhood on the farm - to life in the city. Billie married CJ Weckner, on November 24, 1951.

Billie Jean gave birth to 3 children, Brenda Jean born in 1953, Donald Guy born in 1955, and Daniel Charles born in 1957.

Billie was a hard worker and excelled at many different jobs. She started in nursing while still in high school and stayed in nursing for many years. She also worked for McDonald Douglas assembling parts used to build aircraft. Later in life, Billie Jean drove school busses, made pick ups for laboratories and loved helping elderly friends.

Through most of these years, Billie was the wife of a Missionary Baptist Minister. Serving side by side with her husband.

Billie Jean Weckner is now rejoicing with all of her family and friends who have gone before. No more pain or sorrow.
