Anna Zebrowski, 91, passed away unexpectedly Friday March 18, 2011 in Henderson, Nevada. She was born the daughter of the late Edward and Mary(Nalty) Feeley on July 2nd, 1919 and was raised and educated in New York City. She retired in 1975 after 30 years of service as a civilian procurement specialist/manager for the United States Air Force.
Anna had lived in Roseville, California for 37 years. One year ago, she relocated to Henderson, Nevada to live with her son and daughter-in-law. prior to that she had lived in Midwest City, Oklahoma, Utica and New York City, New York, Columbia, South Carolina, Pensacola, Florida and Richmond, Virginia.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent J Zebrowski, Sr., with whom she shared 52 great years of marriage. She is survived by her only, son, Vincent, jr. and daughter-in-law, Pauline of Henderson, Nevada, her sister, Rosemary Conte of Hamilton, New Jersey, her brother, Edward Feeley and his wife, Joan of Bronxville, New York and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand nephews, her Godson, Harold Belcher of Roseville, California and many close and DEAR Friends. She enjoyed being with family and friends, who will cherish her love and friendship.
When Anna lived in Oklahoma, she attended the University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma on a part time basis. she was very active with her husband in the Veterans of Foreign Wars organization and the Knights of Columbus while living in Roseville. She was a member of St Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Roseville and a volunteer for over 20 years at the Church's grammar school. She was very active in various church activities.
Anna loved to travel and took many trips throughout the United States including California, Texas, hawaii and to the East Coast. She also visited her ancestral home land of Ireland and traveled to Canada, Mexico, England, Scotland and Tahiti and Bora Bora. Anna enjoyed various hobbies including gardening, birdwatching, ceramics and painting and knitting.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 29th, 2011 from 4-7 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at Lambert Funeral Home Chapel, 400 Douglas Blvd, Roseville,California. Mass will be held on Wednesday March 30th at 10:00 a.m. at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 615 Vine Ave Roseville,California. Burial to follow services at Mount Vernon Memorial park, 8201 Greenback lane Fair Oaks,California. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of donor' s choice.
