Mrs. Ross was born in Rome, GA on August 20, 1948, the daughter of the late Leonard Tilman Bolt and Helen Josephine Formby Bolt. Paula was a homemaker, a beloved wife and mother and was very interested in animal welfare. She and her husband Leigh were married for 43 years.
Survivors include her husband, Leigh Boyd Ross, of Rome; one son, Derrick Scott Ross, of Rome; one daughter, Deedra Leigh Hardegree and her husband, Anthony, of Rome; a sister, Sandra McCullough, of Ft. Payne, AL; and three nephews, Dax Clement, Craig Ross and Brad Ross.
A private graveside service for Mrs. Ross was conducted Monday, October 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Oaknoll Memorial Gardens with various members of the family speaking.
