It is so true, time does fly by. Hard to believe it’s been two years since Mimi left us. Still doesn’t seem real. I will always treasure the last Christmas with her. We will never have another, nor have Jan with us also. That’s why every occasion to be with family is so special.

Yesterday was a very hard day for Mimi’s family and Friends we had to say good by way to early. I will  always love  and miss you, and cherish these last 12 years that we have been friends.  I woke up this morning and for a split second forgot I couldn’t call or text.

I was devastated to hear about Mimi’s passing. She cut my hair for  years, did both grandmothers hair for years and came to the funeral home when they passed and did their hair. 
She was a beautiful person with a wonderful personality and a huge heart. We would talk non stop about our family and our fur babies.  She did everything with great passion. I know that she will be extremely missed. Her family, friends, and fur babies are in my prayers. RIP my friend.

Mimi was such a sweet and caring person. She was so good to my mom. She will be missed. Prayers for the family.
 

Gary, Jan and Andy- I am so sorry to hear about Mimi. She was such a wonderful and beautiful person and she always made me feel special when I was around her. I love you all and will be thinking about you and praying for y’all in the days ahead. 

I’m still as others in shock. She has been my beautician and friend for years. She took care of my mom when she passed. She listened but didn’t judge. I’m sure she is in heaven doing what she loved. May God bring peace to the family. 

It still doesn't feel real that someone as vibrant and lively as Mimi is no longer with us. I know that when I go past Salon Luna, I will have a start when I remember that she isn't inside, chatting with someone as she cuts their hair expertly. I send prayers for strength and solace to Mimi's family and friends in coming to terms with this sudden, profound loss. May her memory be for blessing.

I taught Mimi at West Rome High School.  She was always laughing and smiling!  I loved having her in class. She was a delight!

Mimi was a beautiful, kind women. She was a true friend and a gifted hairdresser. She had a smile that would light up a room. Her laugh was infectious. Mimi loved her family so much, along with her fur babies! we had many lengthy conversations and laughs throughout the years. It was an honor to have her as a friend.Mimi will be truly missed.Prayers for her family, may God comfort you until you meet again😥❤

Mimi was caring,thoughtful and giving. I knew her for 32 years through her cutting my hair and my girls, then onto cutting my grandchildren's hair.  I have been blessed to call her my friend and my hairdresser.   
I pray the Lord to give solace to her parents and brother & Steven , along with her extended family.
She is greatly missed. 


I could write a book about all the secrets and stories we shared over the 15+ years  that Mimi was my hairdresser.  She was a one of a kind and a true friend and confidant.  My heart is broken over this sudden loss and I will spend the rest of my life missing this dear soul.  The sign in her shop says it all, "Your hair dress is your therapist."  Praying for the entire family.  I love you, sweet lady.

So saddened by the news of Mimi's passing. She was a great friend and hair dresser. She will be greatly missed. Thoughts and prayers are for her family especially her mother Jan. 

30 years...or somewhere around there you were my friend who just so happened to cut my hair most of those years. You gave my boys their very first haircuts and the last one they had two weeks ago.  You were there for many milestones in our lives. Single days, marriage and then our boys. You were quite simply...part of our family. We will miss you dearly.

Mimi was one of those people you are just drawn to. Kind, loving and so fun to be around.  I cherished her friendship.  Prayers for comfort for family and friends ❤

Mimi will be so missed.  She was one of the first people I met 
when I moved to Rome.   I'll always value her kindness and generosity toward others.  (And by others, I mean both people and animals!)    Mimi and I joked about the fact that she needed to make sure she got to the funeral home to get my gray roots covered if I died unexpectedly.  I simply can't believe it is Mimi who is there now.   Each time I take a brush to my hair I think how this shouldn't be... I should be coming out of my Covid-19  isolation for a MUCH needed cut, color, and social visit with Mimi.  Oh, the catching up we would do!  


The sun is not quite as bright as it was since Mimi left us but she still shines in our hearts. Her smile and laugh just as infectious in our memories as it was in our ears. A life well lived although too short. Give my Emily a big hug up there my sweet Mimi.

To Mimi's Family,
