Joann was born in Denver, Colorado, on December 13, 1950, to the late Harvey Dale Cowan and the late Viginia Lee Lundock Cowan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Brockleman, and her sister Heather Cowan.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
She worked in the cafeteria for the Floyd County School System for several years.
She is survived by her special friends Deborah LeClaire, Jill Cochran, and Deborah Larson.
In keeping with Joann’s wishes, she will be cremated, and no services are scheduled at this time.
