Edward A Cash

Edward was born in Mentone, Alabama on July 12, 1941, the son of the late Albert C. Cash and the late Cassie Irene Jones Cash. Edward was the founder and co-owner of Cash Construction Company.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia McSpadden Cash, his wife of 57 years, his children, Tim Rhyne (Kim), Sally Johnson (Larry), Patrick (Nan Marie), their six grandchildren Jennifer Rhyne, Tim Rhyne, Jr. (Loree), Abby Davis (Corey), Luke Johnson, Patrick Cash, Jr. and Betsy Cash, and their three great grandchildren Reid, Rhett and Ryan Cash Davis. He is survived by his twin brother Edmond Cash (Mary Ann); beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.

Edward was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

He graduated from Jacksonville State University with a business and economics degree.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at 1:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church of Rome with Rev. Bill Pardue officiating. Interment will follow at Bankhead Cemetery in Mentone, Alabama.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church from 11:00 am until the service time.

Pallbearers will be Corey Davis, Tim Rhyne, Jr., Larry Johnson, Patrick Cash, Jr., Luke Johnson, Andy Cash, and John Andrew Cash.

Memorial gifts may be sent to Camp Skyline’s foundation, campskylinefoundation.com. Camp Skyline was a major part of his life.
