William “Bill” G. Brooks, 64, passed away on January 20, 2016 at his home in Rogers. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on January 12, 1952, to William J. and Suzanne (Hughes) Brooks. He was the husband of Ginger (Demo) Brooks.
Bill worked with Dr. C.M. Kendrick from 1974 – 1989 as his nurse and surgical assistant. In 1995 he started Coyote Quality Hardwood Floors which is still providing hardwood flooring throughout NW Arkansas today.
Bill never met a stranger. He had an amazing ability to connect with people from all walks of life. Chances are if you were his friend, he considered you his “best friend”. He was a man of his word. He was a do-er and took great pride in a job well done. He never passed up the opportunity to help anyone in need. He was devoted to his family and loved his grandchildren dearly.
Bill is survived by his wife of 38 years, Ginger of Rogers; mother, Suzanne of Fayetteville; two daughters, Toby Self and husband Shawn of Centerton and Ashley Keesling and husband Jeffrey of Rogers; three brothers, Michael Brooks of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; Peter Brooks of Fayetteville, and Matthew Brooks of Anderson, Missouri; sister, Katherine Browne of Fayetteville; five grandchildren, Hayley, Robert, Dakota, Cara and Dylan; and two great-grandchildren, Kinlee and Jaxen.
He was preceded in death by his father, William.
A gathering in his honor will be held on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 4:00 until 7:00 in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
