Thomas Carl Schreiber

Thomas Carl Schreiber, 66, died May 25, 2014 in Bentonville. He was born on August 25, 1947 in Rochester, Minnesota to the late Wallace Carl and Delores (Behnken) Schreiber. He was the loving husband of Kristin (Frank) Schreiber for 42 years. He fought a courageous fight with his illness and remained positive throughout.

He was a veteran of the US Air Force and served in Vietnam.

Thomas worked for the United States Forest Service for 27 years. Upon retiring, he was a custodian for the Pea Ridge School District for 7 years. He enjoyed helping people and especially enjoyed talking to the children. He enjoyed meeting new people and always had a smile and a warm hand shake for anyone he met.

He is survived by his wife, Kristin; sons, David Carl Schreiber and Jeffrey Schreiber and his wife Ethel; sister, Gloria Brandt; and 3 grandchildren, Deidre, Devin Carl and Avery.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael H. Schreiber.

A visitation will be Friday, May 30, 2014, from 6 until 8pm at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. A funeral will be held Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 2pm in the United Methodist Church in Pea Ridge.
