Sydney Laraine Montondo, 51, of Rogers, Arkansas sadly passed away on November 9, 2024 while a patient at Mercy Hospital. She was born February 26, 1973, in Rogers to Calvin Turner Jr. and Linda (Lane) Turner.
Sydney was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas, and she attended and graduated from Rogers High School. In her spare time, Sydney enjoyed crafting in all forms. She was very talented at drawing, and she also loved doing intricate bead work and broom-making. Aside from being artistic, she was known for being incredibly joyful and so full of love. She was very fond of spending time with her family, especially her son and beloved grandkids. Sydney also had a huge heart for animals. She will be so dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is preceded in death by: father, Calvin Turner Jr.; and her grandparents.
She is survived by: mother, Linda Turner; step father, Ron Roberts; son, Wilson Montondo and his wife Cassie; husband, Russel Collins; brother, Brad Turner and his wife Jennifer; and grandchildren, Holley Montondo, Brock Montondo, and Carter Montondo.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 14th at 2pm at Sycamore Springs Cemetery in Jay, Oklahoma.
