Robert was a family man who never met a stranger. He loved throwing extravagant parties for family and friends as often as possible, but always on the 4th of July. He also loved four-wheeling and hunting deer with his family. He was a visionary who rose above hardship and persevered until he accomplished his goals and dreams.
Robert owned J&R Motors for many years before retiring due to health problems.
He was preceded in death by his dear brother, Randall Chasteen, and stepfather, Frank Thompson.
Robert is survived by his wife and best friend of 20 years, Tena Andrews of Rogers; mother, Joyce Thompson of Rogers; daughter, Ashleigh Carlson (Blaine) of California; stepchildren, Ted Morter of Rogers, Nicole Counts of Bella Vista and Bobby Andrews of Farmington; grandchildren, Max and Milo Morter and Owen Andrews; and sister, Tanya Cooper.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at 11am in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
